TRAINING: Google Apps to Support Mobilization Efforts // 5.25 @ 6:15pm

Much of the good work that’s happening throughout TP Mobilization is being supported by systems inside Google Suite, especially Google Docs. We’ve heard from many members they are not comfortable working with that technology, and this free training has been created to fill those technology knowledge gaps!

When: Thursday May 25th 6:15pm-8:30pm
Suggested Donation: $20, $10- Student/Low-Income (no one will be turned away due to lack of funds).

Proceeds benefit Takoma Mobilization. Cash or Check only.

We will have a projector and lead teacher to go over the basics of Google Docs and Google Calendar. The lead teacher will teach the basics of how to create and share documents, folders and events. Then we will break into small groups and there will be a tutor with each small group to answer questions and help students complete their practice assignments. If possible, please bring a fully charged laptop. If you do not have one, you will need to share with another participant. If you have an additional laptop you would be willing to let someone use during the training, please bring it.
