Led by students from around the country, this rally and die-in memorializes the senseless murders of 49 innocent people at the Pulse nightclub on June 12, 2016, as well as the thousands of people killed each year by gun violence.
“As students, we have decided that we can no longer wait like lambs to be slaughtered. We are rallying toward meaningful change. Our drive is centered around the fundamental rights afforded to all men and women, the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and in addition to this, the basic right of safety, in our homes, our schools, our cities, and our nation.”
